Spring 19 Project one
HistoryFor my history portion I researched and wrote a paper on a solider in world war one who was part a a program called the AEF Art Program and how his painting related to the war.
L.A.For my LA portion I researched and wrote a paper on another artist from the AEF Art Program. I took a painting from this artist and talked about where it was painted, when it was painted, and what was painted.
ArtFor my art portion I made a carving of out of plaster like some of the soldiers in world war one did when they were staying in queries.
Spring 19 Project Two
HistoryFor my history portion I researched pizza. I looked at how the region a pizza is in affects how it evolves over time. I looked over New York pizza, Chicago, and Naples style pizza's.
L.A.For my La portion I researched Italian cook books and I looked at how they are different from American cook books. I looked over the view on food overall in the two cultures along with the ingredients used and how the instructions are told.
ArtFor my art portion I decided to create my own type of pasta. I used how pizza has changed and applied that to pasta. I created a "deep dish" ravioli and a "New York style" spaghetti

For my history portion I researched why music has no affect on recent history and then created a perception discussing the main reasons this has happened.
For my L.A. portion I created lyrics for a song. I analyzed famous songs and picked out key details they used and then incorporated them into my lyrics. I also used a personal experience as a overall theme for the song.
For my art portion I put my lyrics to music and then recorded it. I used basic ukulele chords on the guitar and then simply picked a melody.

For my History portion I researched the attack on the twin towers and then wrote a piece going over how events that could have happened if events may have changed.
For my L.A. portion I created a piece from quotes from a graphic novel i read that reviewed the events from 9/11.
For my art piece I created a compilation of numbers that have to do with the twin towers and then made a college of them representing most of what happened that day through numbers.
